Impacts of Radio Frequency (RF) Radiation on our bodies

Did you know that common household devices such as mobile phones, television sets and even WiFi routers all emit radio frequency radiation? Although this radiation is non-ionizing, meaning it does not increase cancer risk or cause damage to cells. However, prolonged exposure to RF radiation may result in physical impacts such as sleep disturbances, physical stress and hormonal imbalances.

What is RF radiation

RF radiation refers to radiation that is emitted when a device is designed to communicate wirelessly, such as bluetooth, WiFi, IoT devices and many more. The degree of exposure of radiation is dependent on the following 2 factors, proximity and duration of exposure. Hence placing your phone under your pillow or on your bed while sleeping results in an increased exposure to radiation.

Reducing RF radiation exposure

Although there is no way to completely eliminate RF radiation exposure, the main offender of RF radiation exposure, for example our phones, is used very close to the body and at times for long durations, such as during sleep therefore it is neccessary to:

  • Keep phones off the bed at night

  • Avoid sleeping with bluetooth wearables (airpods, fitness watches)

  • Reduce/eliminate charging of devices near bed headboard

This actions ensure that exposure to RF radiation is limited, alternatively Bioresonance treatment is also an option to neutrailze RF radiation, contact us at Elyon Bioresonance to explore if you need this approach.
